Question:
How can I disable IP Reputation lookups and logging in the Firewall?
Answer:
To stop the Firewall from logging and performing IP Reputation queries you must first make sure that none of the IP Reputation features are enabled (DoS Protection, Scanner Protection, Botnet Protection) then you must turn off the “Log IP reputation” option under
“System -> Advanced Settings -> State Settings -> Log IP Reputation”.
You also need to run the command “updatecenter -removedb=ipreputation” in the CLI.
After this you need to reboot the firewall.
When all these steps are completed, IP Reputation will completely be disabled on the Firewall.
To confirm that it have been turned off we can look under “Status -> IP Reputation Log”
