Question:

Clavister cOS Core licenses have a throughput limit parameter. Does this restriction include traffic that is flowing through a loopback interface pair? An example would be if we have a license that has a 200 Mbit throughout limit and we send 50 Mbits in and out of a loopback pair, does that then use 100 Mbit of the license limit?

Answer:

No, license throughput restrictions do not apply to loopback interfaces. If throughput restrictions did apply, that would severely limit the usefulness of loopback interfaces.
