This guide walks you through configuring Clavister IdAuth Cloud and Clavister NetWall to enable strong authentication for Clavister OneConnect users. This is achieved through seamless integration between the two systems using OpenID Connect (OIDC).

To set up the integration, you need to perform specific configuration steps in both Clavister IdAuth Cloud and Clavister NetWall.

Clavister IdAuth Cloud Configuration

Login as an administrator in Clavister IdAuth Cloud, then follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Add-ons and OpenID Connect Provider
  2. Click on Add new button and choose the NetWall type
  3. Provide a name for the Relaying Party
  4. Save

Clavister NetWall Configuration

Using either NetWall WebUI or Clavister InControl, then follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Policies and OIDC
  2. Click on Add and and select OIDC Provider
  3. Fill in the following Client Configuration
    1. Provide a name for the OIDC Provider
    2. OIDC Discovery Endpoint - Copy from the previous created OpenID Connect Provider
    3. OIDC Client ID - Copy from the previous created OpenID Connect Provider
  4. Click OK

This OIDC Provider can now be used by the OneConnect Server configuration object in NetWall as Authentication Source.
